I loved viewing your video. Your home and needle points are wonderful. I enjoyed learning your tip of leaving the end of a thread on the top of a canvas. I am so tired of turning the canvas over to weave in the end of the thread. Do you ever find that having the thread under the stitching leaves a ridge or bump on top? I'd love to get your newsletter. Thank you for sharing! I'll send your video to my needlepoint friends here in Sacramento, California.

I love your work and look forward to seeing your next masterpiece. The kimono was fascinating, and I see that your background was stitched 4-way continental. I am embarrassed to say that I have used this stitch before and have now want to use it again, but I cant for the life of me remember how it goes, and it is so simple! (Senior Moment!) None of my books have it listed so I wonder if you could someway send it to me. It sure would be appreciated!

Everywhere I turn the discussion ends up with your name (good
things) included.
Last discussion on the stitchery was me asking whom sells their
work and how do they go about it etc.....well two people whom responded
Anne-Marie Winters and Barbara Elmore said I should talk to you.......
So how do you sell to the galleries and other places that needlepoint is a form of ART -what is your secret for success?
Would you be interested in creating a gallery show for artist/needle pointers outside of ANG and EGA? We can maybe create it as a BI-annual show and I maybe able to do some footwork as to where.....but I hope you are doing well

I am a long time fan of your work but this is exceptionally intricate and beautiful. The Masks were awesome and great art-work but Great Casting is charming. You can't help but wonder what those girls are going to do with that gorgeous fish or it with them. A true dilemma is forming on that lonely shore.
I strongly considered needle pointing this piece some time back, but decided against it because I knew I would never do it justice. I never dreamed it could be worked up like you did. I am so grateful that I got to see it.

I have just finished reading your article in NN magazine. That Great
Casting piece is just wonderful. I am wondering if you are going to
be exhibiting a piece in Columbus this year at ANG? I am lucky enough
to be going this year for a few days and so want to see your stitching
in person. You are an inspiration.
Thank you for all you do for needlepoint.

Your Stitchtalk 2010 is very interesting and thank you for sending it to me. Hope to see you again in Sarasota or maybe even in Toronto.
Thanks also for encouraging so many of us in the Stitching World.

Your Chinese Masks are unbelievable, I just finished reading part II in the current Needlepoint Now magazine and then went directly to your website! WOW, your work is incredible, I so enjoyed the video.....!

Very interesting work! Your site was a delight to study. I liked how you changed Gleneagle, well done indeed.

As some of you may know Jean Hilton passed away recently. She was a truly talented artist and will be greatly missed.

I love your originality and work. I started needlepoint at the age of sixty five, 19 years ago. My work creates spontaneous pictures. Recently my grandson Steven put them on a website and they can be viewed at jean-ritter-tapestries.id.au. I hope you enjoy them as I enjoy your 'maze'. Regards, Jean Ritter, Kalamunda, Western Australia

This is just a quick note to say that I really appreciate being on your gorgeous Stitchamaze site. I have had so many people see your site, and I have made contact with other tapestry stitchers from your site and we share ideas. Your site really enables our community to get together and to get out there professionally.
It also comes up first on the Google search under artists' names, so well done for getting priority listing!

I love fabrics, trims, buttons and needlepoints, and have designed some of my own pieces. but I never thought to put fabric on needlepoint canvases before! I have recently discovered Orna Willis and today was the first time I really took a close look at your pieces - WOW is all I can say!
I am originally Canadian (from Montreal) and I went to F.I.T. in New York City. I hated painting but your canvases are painted with fabric and fibers! I hope that one of these days I can be as bold as you and go"outside the box"!

This site is wonderful.
I am a member of the Sun-Stitchers of Sarasota, Florida (ANG) and took the class you gave our chapter. We had been shown a heat transfer ink process that enabled us to tranfer a heart design to needlepoint canvas and then you taught us to applique and embellish the canvas. I learned so much from you that I was able to finish the piece on my own. I enjoyed the entire process, the learning, the executing and the completion of the piece. Thank you so much for such a wonderful expericence.

Your work is an inspiration, even to one who has needlepointed for 40 years. I've been "finishing" Gustav Klimt's "Emily Floge", bought in Salzburg twelve years ago, challenged by the flesh tones on the petit-point face and hands. Your notes on his "The Kiss" have helped me think about returning to the project. Congratulations on your talent. With kind regards, Ronnie

Wow, and a Canadian site! What eye-candy! - what inspiration! I have book-marked your site and will return often. I am a huge fan of mixed media and embellishment. As well it really fuels my creative "juices" to read about other's journeys on the creative path.

I so enjoyed seeing the work of Avril Halliday in your Guest Gallery. I hope you will also be able to get other stitchers from the U.K. to exhibit. It is so wonderful to see the creative ideas you have on your site.

Absolutely adore the "Interlude" canvas. Have never seen such beautiful canvases. Love the stories.

I don't think I have ever seen more beautiful needlepoint in my life. And I admire what you have to say about your insight of your work. I truly look forward to any newsletters, e-mails, anything you put out.

Wonderful website - a stitcher in New Zealand recommended it to me - she came across our Northern Ireland Embroidery Guild website www.nieg.org.uk and has been corresponding since! I'm writing our next guild magazine at the moment and I'm going to recommend everyone has a look at your work - love the stories and details about the pieces and the wonderful photographs!

Last night I spent some time with your web site and was so taken with "Moonshine" that I awoke today thinking about the light shining on the water. I returned to the site and read your article on how you did the actual needlepoint and am quite fascinated.
I do 'ordinary' needlepoint and am an amateur photographer, but your skill is truly amazing! Maybe some day, I will be adventurous enough to try a needlepoint from one of my photos.
