Lesley Sherman

Lesley is a member of my stitching table. She arrived one day after her husband 'found' us stitching in the party room of their condo building. We need Lesley at our table! She's a delight as she takes such pleasure in every new stitching discovery and achievement!

Lesley has been passionate about Kimonos and her pieces are fabulous! We are all in awe as Lesley works without a frame, stitching in her hand, no laying tool either. As you can see, it works really well. So much for the fancy toys!

Lesley writes:

"None of my pieces are named. I had done some basic (very basic- continental stitch only) needlework about 25 years ago but when I moved to a new condo last year I decided to do some work of my own for one very long wall."

"I promised myself that I would learn at least one new stitch for each project and that I would never start a new piece without completing the last. I have always kept the first promise but not the second!

I now stitch in a bi-weekly group with Rosalyn, and she and the other ladies have been so generous with their advice and encouragement.

I have definetely become a "stitching addict" and I relish every minute of my addiction!!"
