Japanese Beaded embroidery
This piece is just so much fun to stitch. The technique Mary Alice Sinton taught us is to outline the printed fabric with tri-cut beads. It's fascinating to watch the pattern transform with the beads. Once I begin to bead, I don't want to stop! I'm only showing you a section of the fabric, but my plan is to create this piece as a small purse.
Our class last year:
On Monday, February 6, 2006, Karen Tranter, Dorothy Robinson, Clemmie Rounds, Rose Marie Molinari, Betty Murphy, Dorothy Christian, Else Sandifer, Helen Allen and myself, attended a one day workshop hosted in Helen's home, with Mary Alice Sinton, teaching us Japanese Bead Embroidery.
